Terms of Use

Effective 7 September 2026. JoyKan is operated by Benjaphon Niramit, an individual in Thailand.

Eligibility

JoyKan is for adults aged 18 and over. Members must explicitly accept the current Terms, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy before creating activities.

Member responsibility

Members must provide accurate activity details, use only profile and event images they own or have permission to share, follow Thai law and other applicable law, respect consent and privacy, and avoid prohibited content. Hosts organize their own events; JoyKan provides discovery and coordination and is not the host, venue, insurer, or emergency service.

Public event links

Every published event has a public invitation link. Anyone with the link may see approved public event details and Host identity, but not participant or Interested identities, private meeting links, internal instructions, or room content. Hosts can stop access by cancelling the event or contacting Support; third-party apps may temporarily retain cached previews.

Profiles, check-in & connections

Participant profiles and Interested visibility support informed activity choices, not dating, followers, or open direct messages. Hosts may check members in only after an event starts. A connection request requires both people to have checked in to the same event and becomes mutual only after acceptance. Either member may remove the connection or block.

Private feedback

Checked-in attendees may provide private Host feedback. Individual ratings and notes are not shared; JoyKan may show a bounded aggregate only after enough responses exist.

Post-event acknowledgements

Hosts and checked-in attendees may send one or two positive acknowledgements to verified co-attendees within 30 days. Aggregates appear only after at least three acknowledgements. Earned badges and profile frames use verified check-ins; an organizer milestone also requires at least one non-host attendee check-in and excludes events with an unresolved high- or urgent-severity safety report. Joins and acknowledgements do not convert directly into credits. JoyKan displays at most one earned badge and one frame, these are not financial scores, they do not guarantee future conduct, and No Show labels are never published.

Event Rooms

Authenticated users may enter a published event's room before confirming attendance. Room entry does not reserve a place and does not reveal private meeting links or confirmed-participant instructions. Room users may reply, mention others, react with a bounded emoji set, and share moderated images. Messages and images may be filtered for safety. Text hidden by local safety signals may receive one automated second review: clearly safe text can be restored, while risky or uncertain text remains hidden or enters human review. Automatically hidden text can be appealed for human review; risk signals alone do not suspend an account. Members can choose all notifications, announcements and mentions only, or no notifications.

Meeting-place suggestions

Meeting-place autocomplete uses Google Maps Platform Places API (New). By using suggestions, members agree that the query and one Place Details lookup for a newly selected venue may be processed under the Google Maps Platform Terms and Google Privacy Policy. JoyKan stores the selected name, supporting address, Google place ID, and coordinates of the public venue with the event to open the intended venue and support Nearby. Queries, suggestion lists, and member coordinates are not stored. Nearby uses foreground location only in volatile on-device memory. Manual location entry remains available, as do named-area filters.

Moderation

JoyKan checks event text for bounded spam, advertising, direct-selling, and scam signals and may hold suspicious events for human review. Reports include an evidence snapshot and may be categorized or summarized by AI for triage, but a human moderator makes enforcement decisions. Report counts or AI output alone never suspend an account. JoyKan may restrict content, remove events or images, suspend accounts, retain incident evidence, or refer serious matters when needed to protect members or comply with law.

Deletion and safety

Account deletion is available in the app and removes profile fields and photos, Saves, Interested actions, feedback, connections, and invitations as described in the Privacy Policy. Use care when meeting new people, prefer public locations, and contact local emergency services when danger is immediate.
