Child Safety Standards
Effective 3 September 2026. These public standards apply to JoyKan. JoyKan is intended only for adults aged 18 and over, but child safety remains mandatory across every activity, profile, image, link, and Event Room.
Zero tolerance for CSAE
JoyKan explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of a minor, trafficking or exploitation of a child, and any content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or facilitates abuse of a child. Users must not create, upload, share, request, promote, link to, or attempt to obtain such content or conduct.
Reporting and response
Use JoyKan's in-app Report and Block controls when possible so the relevant event, account, or message reference can be preserved. Reports involving suspected CSAE receive urgent human review. JoyKan may remove content, restrict or ban accounts, preserve relevant evidence, and report suspected CSAE to the appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations when required by applicable law. Do not download, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM in order to report it.
If a child or any person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. JoyKan is not an emergency service.
Child safety contact
The designated contact for JoyKan child-safety issues is the JoyKan Safety Team at support@joykan.app. Include only the information needed to locate the account, event, or message. Never email passwords, one-time codes, or illegal content.
Related standards
These standards supplement the JoyKan Community Guidelines, which also prohibit sexual exploitation, grooming, content involving minors, harassment, and unsafe imagery.
